ABSTRACT

This article explores dietary strategies for methane mitigation, including feed additives such as 3-nitrooxypropanol (3-NOP), red seaweed, tannin-rich plants, and improved ration balancing. These interventions can substantially reduce methane emissions while enhancing feed efficiency, milk yield, and animal health. Wider adoption requires farmer awareness, affordable access, supportive policies, and effective extension services.
