ABSTRACT

Camel milk serves as a widely consumed staple food, particularly in arid and semi-arid regions. It is rich in essential nutrients, including lactoferrin, zinc, bioactive peptides, and mono- and polyunsaturated fatty acids, all of which contribute to overall health and well-being. These components have the potential to help manage various human health conditions, including tuberculosis, asthma, gastrointestinal disorders, and jaundice. Rich in essential fatty acids, proteins, lactose, and minerals, camel milk has been reported to have beneficial effects in the management of diabetes, hepatitis C, and allergies. It has also been shown to enhance antioxidant enzyme levels in children with autism spectrum disorder and in patients with tuberculosis. This article explores the therapeutic properties of camel milk, its nutritional composition, and its potential applications in the management of specific diseases and the promotion of human health.
