ABSTRACT

Dairy tourism is an emerging trend of rural tourism in India that blends traditional dairy farming with engaging visitor experiences. It offers hands-on activities such as cow milking and farm-to-table food experiences, creating additional income for farmers while educating consumers. As rural tourism grows across the country, dairy tourism promotes economic diversification, job creation, and cultural preservation. It also fosters sustainability, strengthens connections between urban and rural areas, and rekindles interest in agriculture among young people. With rising demand for ethical and eco-friendly travel, dairy tourism is becoming a pivotal force for rural revitalization, social empowerment, and inclusive agricultural progress.
