ABSTRACT

Donkey milk has been considered as an unique milk, due to its nutritional and compositional properties that make it similar to human milk. Presence of natural antimicrobial agents and unique protein profiles, this milk has been considered as hypoallergenic. Recent studies also suggest that donkey milk is very useful against many deadly diseases including tumor and heart diseases. The commercial production of donkey milk and milk products are still very low.
