ABSTRACT

The circular economy model in livestock farming presents an innovative approach by converting waste into valuable resources, offering a sustainable alternative to the conventional linear model. This article examines key practices, including the transformation of manure into organic fertilizers, biogas production from organic waste, the repurposing of animal by-products, feed waste recycling, and the implementation of water recycling systems. Through the analysis of recent studies and governmental initiatives, this article underscores the critical role of circular economy principles in shaping the future of agriculture, demonstrating their potential to support global sustainability goals while improving economic outcomes for the livestock sector.
