ABSTRACT

The dairy industry is at a pivotal juncture in the 21st century, where sustainability, technology, and evolving consumer preferences are shaping its trajectory. Sustainability is crucial, demanding reduced environmental impact, economic viability, and social responsibility, while technology is essential for improving animal welfare, product quality, traceability, and safety. Simultaneously, changing consumer preferences drive demand for diverse, convenient, and ethically produced dairy products, influencing product innovation and marketing strategies. These interrelated factors create a dynamic and complex landscape for the dairy industry as it strives to meet progressing consumer expectations while addressing pressing environmental and socio-economic issues.
