ABSTRACT

Present article mainly focuses on how the milk production of country could be enhanced through rapid genetic improvement of animals with the integrated use of assisted reproductive techniques. This article also focuses the importance, usage, economic feasibility of assisted reproductive techniques. However, due to high cost of instruments and infrastructure makes the inaccessibility of these techniques for small and marginal farmers. Lack of a database on the reproductive health of animal, medication, and disease resistance traits of indigenous animals also create challenges in its implementation.
