ABSTRACT

Although many factors are responsible for the low productivity of dairy animals, the prevalence of reproductive problems emerges as one of the major causes of concern today. Studies show that repeat breeding, anestrous, delayed puberty, abortion, RFM, etc are the major reproductive problems, which if addressed with proper management strategies could increase the efficiency of dairy farming at individual farm level. Therefore, application of proper extension techniques, including appropriate extension literature, would create more awareness and knowledge among the farmers.
