ABSTRACT

IoT provides valuable services to the food industries, such as realtime monitoring of the food's temperature, moisture, traceability during transportation, finding the defective foods, and reducing the food wastages. Traceability information can be accessed through the internet relying on existing standards, and therefore it can be concluded that IoT concepts and technologies enable efficient methods for data gathering, communication, and sharing from different resources automatically.
