ABSTRACT

Breast feeding must be encouraged at all levels. Under unavoidable circumstances, cow milk can be used to feed the infant. It may support normal growth and development. Humanisation of cow milk is a technique which would make cow milk similar to that of human milk to feed the infant. No amount of computation can completely humanise cow milk. However, as a thumb rule, equal amount of water is added to cow milk to bring down the ash and protein contents.
