Today we have fully tested ET protocols and methodology for calf's production through ET, with results at par with the world standards. There is a huge demand of high yielding dairy animals of Sahiwal, Gir, Red Sindhi and HF, Jersey in the country. The disease-free elite bulls for semen production and elite bull mothers and replacement heifers of high genetic value can be produced through embryo transfer program. The embryo transfer is turned out to be the safest and most effective reproductive technology for genetic gain and the genomic selection of male and female calves as well as donor cows will further accelerate the response to selection.
