ABSTRACT

Cow is very important milch animal. However, several other milch animals, such as Yak, Camel, Zebu-brahman, Mithun, Reindeer, Donkeys, and pigs, are also important in specific regions due to their unique characteristics. The growing global demand for milk, driven by population growth, has prompted interest in alternatives to cow milk. Given the distinct traits of these animals, it is crucial to conduct extensive research on milk production, breeding, quality, and yield. This article aims to provide a comprehensive overview of milk and milk products from these various animals and compare them with dairy cow milk and its products.
